The ingredients needed to prepare Brenda's Pasties:
- You need 6 each pork chops, cubed
- Take 1 each round steak, cubed
- Use 3 large potatoes, cubed
- Use 1 large onion, diced
- Get 1 cup Mushrooms, diced
- Take 1 cup Bell peppers, red & green diced
- Provide 2 box pie crusts (2 crusts per box)
- You need 1 butter
- You need 1 salt & pepper
Instructions to make Brenda's Pasties:
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Cut up beef and pork into cubes about 1/4" in size.
- Cut potatoes into 1/4" cubes.
- The quantity of potatoes should be about twice the combined amount of meat. Keep cubed potatoes in cold water to keep them from turning brown.
- Cut up the onion, mushrooms and bell peppers into 1/4" pieces also.
- Roll out the pie crust and lay over a 9" pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
- Add raw pork, beef, and diced vegetables until the pie plate is 1/2 full when crust is folded over.
