The ingredients needed to cook Pavbhaji:
  1. Prepare 4 tomatoes
  2. Get 100 gms cauliflower
  3. Take 1 big +1 small green capsicum
  4. You need 4-5 ivy gourd
  5. Provide 4-5 ladyfinger
  6. Get 100 gms cabbage
  7. Get 1/4 cup peas (green/dry)
  8. Get 1 green chilli(chopped)
  9. Use 1 tsp ginger paste
  10. Prepare 2 tbs coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  11. Use 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. Use 1 tbsp coriander powder
  13. Get 1 tsp cumin seed
  14. Provide 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Take 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  16. Use 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  17. Use 1 tbsp pavbhaji masala
  18. Use to taste Salt
  19. You need 2 tbsp oil
  20. Provide 1 tbsp butter
Steps to make Pavbhaji:
  1. Boil potatoes and smash, chop tomatoes
  2. Cut vegetables(2 brinjal, cauliflower, 1 green capsicum, lady' fingers, ivy gourd) and boil in cooker for 2 whistles cool and smash. Boil peas with salt. Grate cabbage and chop capsicum.
  3. Heat oil in pan add cumin when splutter add tomatoes and green chillies,saute till oil releases and smash well.
  4. Add boiled potatoes, boiled vegetables,mix well.
  5. Add coriander powder,coriander leaves, turmeric powder, ginger paste, asafoetida, pavbhaji masala and salt mix well.
  6. Add cabbage, chopped capsicum and 1 cup water cover lid and cook for 5 minutes at low flame, stir occasionally now add peas.
  7. Heat another pan add little oil and butter when melt add red chilli powder and garam masala powder and temper it to bhaji. Mix well. Saute pav in butter and serve with salad.
